Pamela Thalben-Ball

Pamela Thalben-Ball (1927–2012), the daughter of artist Evelyn Chapman, was a portrait and landscape artist who studied at the Heatherley Art School in London. She was Secretary of the Chelsea Art Society and exhibited her work in various galleries including the Royal Academy. Thalben-Ball traveled through Spain and Italy before moving to Australia in 1961 after her mother's death. She worked as an artist for Placer International, held exhibitions in Australia and entered works in the Archibald, Portia Geach, and Doug Moran prizes. Her work is represented at Australia House, London, and the Australian War Memorial.
